Teen Counselors in Training
The CIT program teaches teens to work with youth while earning community service hours. Each participant must attend mandatory training sessions that will cover a range of topics such as character development, leadership skills, team building, supervising of children, and basic first aid.
Following the completion of each training week, CIT's will be scheduled to volunteer in one of our great summer camp programs. Placement in camp programs will depend on the CIT’s age group and after successfully completing the CIT's volunteer training, CIT's can continue to volunteer in our camp programs, providing them an great opportunity to work with children throughout the summer.
CIT Fee: $125 (includes t-shirt and training materials)
Ages: 13–17, 8th–12th grades - (Must be at least 13 years old by May 1st)

Training Week June 9 - 13 9AM-4PM Room 1H11 (Supervised Lunch 12PM-1PM) Students must either bring their own lunch or purchase a lunch ticket from the OCCC cafeteria for $5.25 daily. Students will not be allowed to leave the OCCC campus if not checked out by a parent. |

You may register in person at 7777 S. May Ave between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday. Park in lot E, enter the building at entry 7 and go to the Recreation & Fitness office, or register by phone at (405) 682-7860 and pay with a credit card. Fees are due at the time of registration.
