Application Requirements
Transfer Student (transferring SEVIS record to OCCC)
Items Needed for Admission:
- Apply now.
- Submit a current financial letter of support (no older than 60 days) showing the ability to finance the projected educational goals ($18,200). Prospective students must demonstrate that they can meet all expenses incurred while they are attending school. A bank statement alone will not be accepted; also include the Student Financial Verification form signed by student's sponsor. For each dependent (spouse or child) you must show at least $2,500 on the bank statement in addition to the $18,200.
- Provide proof of English proficiency by meeting one of the following:
- Score a minimum of 500 on the paper-based TOEFL, 173 on the computer-based TOEFL, 61 on the internet-based TOEFL (IBT), or 5.5 on the IELTS, or 85 on Duolingo English Proficiency Test (Not Valid after Summer 2023 admission).
- Submit an official transcript reflecting 24 completed college hours of accredited college work at a college or university in the United States.
- Submit an official U.S. high school transcript, with date of graduation, which indicates that all curricular requirements have been met. A list of curricular requirements is available from the Admissions Office.
- 460 or higher on paper-based TOEFL or 48 internet-based TOEFL or 5.0 or higher on IELTS or 80 on Duolingo English Proficiency Test (Not Valid after Summer 2023 admission) or higher AND completion of 12 weeks of intensive English study at an approved intensive English program in Oklahoma.
Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education - Current Intensive English Programs (IEP) Approved for Students Seeking Admission to Institutions in the Oklahoma State System
- Send all official transcripts reflecting accredited college work. If you have not attended another college, then all officially certified high school records must be submitted.
- Submit a valid passport name page copy.
- Submit a copy of your I-94 number found at cbp.gov/i94.
- Current copy of your I-20 student copy from the last school the student was authorized to attend.
It is recommended that students apply at least two weeks before the semester begins.

New Student Residing Outside of the United States

- Submit a valid passport name page copy.
- It is recommended that students apply at least two months before the semester begins.

Part Time International Students must:
- Apply here.
- Provide a letter from the DSO at your institution with permission for you to take classes at OCCC each semester.
- Submit current official transcript from the school which holds your SEVIS record.
- Come in person to meet with an Admissions Advisor in Recruitment and Admissions.
