Financial Aid Award Letter
Award Letter
THE Financial Aid Office DOES NOT EXTEND PAYMENTS
Students who receive an Award Letter before a payment deadline and who have been awarded a Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG), Federal Perkins Loan or a grant from their tribe (BIA Grant), will not initially be dropped from classes if they have accepted and returned their award letter to the Financial Aid Office. Payment for tuition and fees will be deducted from these funds before you are issued a check for the semester. If you do not receive enough aid to cover all of your tuition and fees, you will be expected to adhere to the same standard of payment as all other students.
If you do not receive an Award Letter before a payment deadline date, you must follow the guidelines of OCCCs payment plan to avoid being dropped from classes.
You are responsible for ensuring you understand how your tuition and fees will be paid to avoid being dropped from classes.
