SISU is a volunteer based day shelter to help connect metro teens (focus is mainly on older teens under the age of 18), with basic need support (food, clothing, personal care items) and case managers in health care, housing, employment, and education.

Sky is SISU Youth’s goal achievement program. This program offers a campus style approach to providing support services to transition-aged youth experiencing homelessness.

After enrolling in Sky, at risk youth are then eligible to enroll in The Dorm emergency shelter program.  The Dorm provides a safe and comfortable emergency shelter option (for up to 45 nights).  Currently, the Dorm overnight shelter is only open on weekends.

Upward Transitions provides assistance to families and individuals who face threats to financial stability or who are homeless or on the verge of becoming homeless. They provide case management and stabilizing resources to meet basic social needs.

  • State ID purchase assistance for clients who are homeless
  • Utility and public housing rent deposits
  • EMBARK bus Routes 9 & 12 pass by Upward Transitions
  • Provide travelers aid at Will Rogers Airport with trained volunteers that provide information on airport services and the Oklahoma City metro area, assist stranded travelers and military personnel, and provide referral resources to individuals (including international students) with social service needs
