The CLT team is composed of members with diverse backgrounds and experiences but have the common goal of supporting faculty to enhance learning, student engagement, and success.
Lindsey Baker
Director of the Center for Learning and Teaching
Lindsey moved to Oklahoma City from Tennessee in 2021 and joined OCCC as the Director of the CLT. She has a decade of experience teaching a wide-range of ages and subjects and has worked in K-5 public education, in Adult Education, and at multiple technical and community colleges. Most recently, Lindsey spent the last several years as an English professor and the Assistant Dean of English and Fine Arts at Georgia Northwestern Technical College. What she loves most about her current position at OCCC is that it allows her to support faculty, which in turn helps students succeed in their educational goals. She is passionate about progress, innovation, and technology and brings with her a positive attitude and the belief that all people deserve an equal opportunity to become educated and better their lives. Lindsey is an avid reader and loves to spend time with her husband and pets.
Morgan Felty
Learning Management System Administrator
Morgan Felty is a 2003 OCCC graduate with an Associate's Degree in Sociology. Morgan worked in the student testing center from 2004-2008 and then moved to his current role. He enjoys working in the educational environment and strives to provide excellent service to students, faculty, and staff. Morgan embraces the challenges of working in the ever-advancing field of instructional technology and prides himself on being able to continually meet the shifting technical support needs of the college's students.
Lorne Lee
Instructional Designer
Lorne came to Oklahoma City Community College in 2021. His years of higher education experience include being an instructor, division chairperson, band director, academic counselor, and other leadership positions at several colleges. Lorne believes all students should have the opportunity to succeed and all faculty and staff deserve the best support to help this dream become a reality.
Marci Moore
Instructional Designer
Marci has 20 years of teaching and leadership experience in elementary, secondary, and higher education settings. Her higher education experience includes being an innovation specialist, clinical teacher program coordinator, course instructor, and instructional designer. As an instructional designer, she is passionate about guiding professors in building integrated learning experiences for their online and face-to-face courses and collaborating with them in using the curriculum to create community and learning relationships with their students.
Carolyn Woodhouse
CLT Assistant
Carolyn moved to Oklahoma City from Clarksville, Arkansas, where she was employed at the University of the Ozarks, a private, four-year university, for eleven years. Prior to that, she lived in Texas for over 30 years where she attended Vernon College at Sheppard Air Force Base for two semesters after graduating from high school, raised a family, and gained valuable experience working outside the home. Carolyn began employment at OCCC at the end of May, 2015 as Secretary for the then Division of Information Technology. She served the Division of Science, Engineering and Math Division as their Secretary for the next three years before finding her current home in the Center for Learning and Teaching as Assistant. She offers over 30 years of experience in Secretary and Administrative Assistant positions during her past employment. She enjoys  spending time with her family, watching PBS, and genealogy.
