Several resources provided by Oklahoma City Community College require that you sign-on using your OCCC account. Many of these resources use a method of authentication referred to as single sign-on, or SSO.
SSO provides various benefits over traditional authentication methods. Two of which are a uniform login page and a reduction in the number of times you are required to enter a username and password.
By default, the name used to sign on will be your email address. Below you will find the default email address formats.

For example, a student with the name, Justin K. Example, would have a default email address of, firstname.lastname@example.org.
A person with that same name working for the college, as part of the faculty or staff, would have a default email address of, email@example.com.
If that person were to retire their email address would change to, firstname.lastname@example.org.
NOTE: If you do not have a middle name, or one was not listed on your application packet the middle initial is omitted and the first and last name are separated by a period.

- For first-time students, your initial password will be set to your birthdate in MMDDYY format (ex. 051295). You will be required to change your password upon your first login.
- For students who have attended OCCC previously and are now returning your password will be the last 6 digits of your Social Security Number. You will be required to change your password upon your first login.
