The Texas Gypsies - Acoustic Gypsy/Texas Swing Jazz Quintet

Texas Gypsies

Imagine this: you're in a quaint Parisian cafe listening to a delightful acoustic jazz combo. The air is filled with songs, some familiar, some exotic and intriguing. You're caught up in the music as lightning-fast guitar runs dart in and out of beautiful violin melodies. The rhythm guitarist is strumming his guitar with fiery abandon while the bassist slaps a rhythm that your feet can't resist. With your partner, you stand and move to the dance floor. Suddenly you stumble and trip over a Shiner beer bottle. As if waking from a dream, you realize that this isn't Paris, France, it's Paris, Texas!

The Texas Gypsies, formed by experienced professional musicians including a Grammy winner and sidemen for many famous recording artists, have combined their love for a music that is "Pop music, Swing, or Hot Jazz, from the 30s and 40s," along with a Southern Western Swing influence, to create their own unique sound. Able to provide songs that feature both vocals and/or instrumentals, the quartet is able to satisfy clients in such venues as clubs, private parties, weddings, festivals, and restaurants small or large! The upbeat and sing able or danceable sound always turns people's heads and keeps their interest whether it is young people hearing a new sound or a more mature person remembering a great time!
