This Giving Tuesday, Oklahoma City Community College is launching its Giving Tuesday campaign to support the OCCC Food Pantry.
This program supports critical resources for students and families facing food insecurity. The urgency is real as 1 in 4 students arrive on campus hungry, reflecting a broader national trend among community colleges. In the past year alone, over 1,200 students utilized the pantry to access nutritious food and pantry staples.
In December, OCCC’s campus will be closed the last two weeks. That means students must receive support now to ensure they have access to food during this extended closure.
Donors can make a meaningful impact with contributions such as: $25 for a week of meals for a student; $50 for groceries for a week for the student and their family; $100 or more to help stock the pantry with perishable and nonperishable food items like canned vegetables, pasta, rice, and protein sources. Please join us in stocking the shelves and adding fuel to student success. Every donation helps ensure no student goes hungry this holiday season.
