The Foundation for Oklahoma City Community College announced today the completion of its renaming, rebranding and new marketing materials, including a new website. The alterations to The Foundation’s core brand were completed in tandem with Oklahoma City Community College’s rebrand, but were largely motivated by the changing donor relations required amid COVID-19.
“The new brand is a clean look, and the change to our name really emphasizes our purpose to serve the students, faculty, staff and programs at the college,†said Von Allen, Executive Director of The Foundation. “We are The Foundation for Oklahoma City Community College, which emphasizes our mission of working with generous community members who believe in our mission of providing outstanding educational opportunities to students who might not otherwise find a comfortable fit in higher education.â€
The new website, GivetoOCCC.org, helps The Foundation provide donors with an easier and quicker online giving platform. Donors making an online gift are immediately provided with a tax receipt, making record-keeping more convenient.
“The new site provides visitors with a lot of information in a format that is interesting, brisk and attractive,†said Allen. “We’ve also migrated to a newer, secure credit card processor to help ensure the generous gifts of our donors are safely transmitted and protected.â€
The Foundation for Oklahoma City Community College is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in 1998 by a group of community and business leaders who wanted to encourage private support for Oklahoma City Community College.
