      OCCC to offer Oklahoma City's first course using Apple's Swift Language

      Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) will be the first in the Oklahoma City metro to offer a mobile app development class using Swift, a general-purpose programming language developed by Apple to build apps for iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS. The class will introduce computer programming, including design, development, testing, implementation and documentation. Individuals with an interest in acquiring or enhancing their mobile app development skills are encouraged to enroll.

      College for Kids summer 2019 registration now open

      Enrollment is now open for College for Kids, a dynamic summer enrichment program through Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC). College for Kids offers a variety of classes including science, technology, engineering, art, math, reading, history and much more. The program is open for students entering first through eighth grade and will run from June 3 - July 26, 2019, excluding the first week of July.

      OCCC Accepting Applications for CyberCorps Scholarship

      Qualified students with interest in pursuing a career in cybersecurity, have a unique opportunity to earn a full scholarship at Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) through the National Science Foundation (NSF) CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) program. The prestigious scholarship pays for full tuition and provides an allowance for related expenses such as textbooks, fees, professional certifications and travel. In addition, a stipend is paid each academic year in the amount of $22,500.

      OCCC to host open house for new anesthesia technology program

      Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) is now accepting applications for the college's new anesthesia technology program. OCCC will host two open house sessions for students and prospective employers Wednesday, April 10, at its main campus. The student session will occur from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the employer session will occur from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the OCCC Health Professions Center.
