Calling all scouts! Oklahoma City Community College’s (OCCC) Office of Community Outreach and Education offers select merit badge classes for Boy Scouts, Adventure Badge classes for Webelos and Bears, along with a wide variety of Girl Scout badge classes for Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes. Each badge class is only $10 per scout.
Classes include: Adventures in Science, Earth Rocks!, Into the Wild, Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, Public Speaking, Detective, Forensics, and more.
The classes are one and a half hours each and offered on Saturdays throughout the school year. Badge classes are located on the college’s main campus at 7777 S. May Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK. There is no additional fee for parents or siblings. Not able to make it to a class? OCCC also teaches private sessions for troops or packs, on campus or on location.
