|Note: Due to the wide variance between Android devices, these steps may be slightly different on your device. If you are having trouble setting up your student email on your Android, please contact the Center for Learning and Teaching at email@example.com, 405.682.7574, or in person at room 2G3 in the SEM center, across from the Math Lab.
|Open the Email app.
|Enter your log in information in the empty fields. Your student email address will generally be firstname.lastname@example.org and your default password is last six digits of your social security number. Tap next. Note: If you already have an email account set up on your device, you will need to open the settings menu and tap Add new account to access the account setup screen.
|Your phone will take a few minutes to retrieve your account info. When finished, it will load the following option screen:
|You will need to make some adjustments to these settings. In the DomainUsername field, you will need to add @my.occc.edu to the end of your username so that your entire email address is displayed. In the Server field, delete “my.occc.edu” and enter the following: bn1prd0412.outlook.com
|When finished, tap next. This will check your settings. You may receive the following message:
Adjust the following settings as you desire and tap Next.
|Enter a name for your account and tap Next.
|You may be prompted to activate the device administrator. If you agree, tap Activate.
|Your account should then begin to sync. When finished syncing, your email account setup will be complete.
