This course prepares students in the fundamentals of writing grant proposals for nonprofit organizations, tax-exempt institutions or for other purposes. Students will examine effective grants, as well as explore and demonstrate understanding of all essential aspects of grant writing including the proposal narrative and budget. Students will also practice developing grants that answer private, state and federal Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

MATH 0203 College Prep Math II or adequate Math Placement Test Score; ENGL 0203, adequate placement score, or by meeting determined placement measures
