In this course, students will learn some of the best practices in parenting, including: the basic care of a child, guidance and discipline, the importance of interactive play, the understanding of language and literacy development, knowledge of the basic ages and stages of child development, knowledge of a child’s microsystem, and balancing multiple responsibilities.
