In-person classes are available again at OCCC!
(Published: 05-25-21)
After a very long and difficult year of remote learning, teaching and working, we’re ready to come back together. OCCC has offered online learning opportunities for years and will continue to, but for many of us, there’s just no substitute for the in-person college experience. With vaccines safe and readily available (we strongly encourage you to get yours), and CDC guidance stating that vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear masks in most instances, we feel the time is right to bring most employees back to campus, offer mostly in-person classes, and welcome our students – new and returning – to our community for classes. In short: We’re back!
Students: You’ll continue to have the option to request in-person or online classes when you enroll, and we’ll continue to offer the best possible experience to you, however you choose to experience OCCC. As more student demand builds for in-person classes, more and more sections will be opened.
An important reminder: Masks are recommended, but not required on campus, except in designated labs and centers. We’re grateful for everyone’s patience and grace as we continue to follow the direction of the CDC and of our OCCC Health Professionals.
