OCCC’s Digital Cinema Production program is hosting free two-day workshops in July for aspiring young filmmakers. Our Oscar-winning faculty will teach them the fundamentals of cameras, lighting, sound mixing and students will get to shoot a scene on our world-class soundstage.
These high school Stephen Spielbergs and junior high Greta Gerwigs are getting to play with some of the best film equipment in the game. We’re talking our collection of professional cameras, lights and mics (if you’ve seen any major blockbuster, you’ve seen what our gear can do).
The workshops are almost full, but there are still a few spots left on July 29 and July 30 for juniors and seniors in high school. If you’re interested, register here.
If you know someone who would love an opportunity like this, pass it along!
Here are the details:
Date: July 29 and July 30
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost: The workshop is free and lunch is included
Location: OCCC’s Main Campus at the Visual and Performing Arts Center
See you on set!
