Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) has extended the tuition waiver deadline for incoming first-year students until Thursday, April 30, 2020.
“We understand these are hard economic times, and we want to ensure college is affordable for students,†said Michael Hoggatt, director of Recruitment and Admissions.
The tuition waiver is for incoming freshman students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and enroll in 12 hours each semester. Applicants must meet additional eligibility requirements, and the award amount is based on ACT/SAT scores or high school GPA. A limited number of waivers are available, so students are encouraged to apply early for top consideration.
OCCC offers scholarships and tuition waivers for current and prospective students. The freshman tuition waiver allows for partial payment of tuition, and additional scholarships are available to cover other expenses such as books & fees. All current waivers and scholarships are for the fall 2020 semester.
