New Student Residing Outside of the United States
Items Needed for Admission
1. Apply now.
2. Submit a current financial letter of support (less than one-year-old) showing the ability to finance the projected educational goals ($18,200). A prospective student must demonstrate that s/he can meet all expenses incurred while a student. A bank statement alone will not be accepted; also include the Student Financial Verification form signed by student's sponsor.
3. Provide proof of English proficiency by meeting one of the following:
- Standardized Testing. Students must meet the minimum score set by the State Regents on either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Examination, (NEW) the PTE Academic, or the iTEP Academic. **Duolingo is now longer accepted as of Fall 2023.

- Minimum Score below with completion of a 12 weeks of intensive English Language Program at an approved intensive English program in Oklahoma: Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education - Current Intensive English Programs (IEP) Approved for Students Seeking Admission to Institutions in the Oklahoma State System

- Submit an official transcript reflecting 24 completed college hours of accredited college work at a college or university in the United States.
- Submit an official U.S. high school transcript, with date of graduation, which indicates that all curricular requirements have been met. A list of curricular requirements is available from the Admissions Office.
4. Send all official transcripts reflecting accredited college work. If you have not attended another college, then all officially certified high school records must be submitted.
5. Submit a valid passport.
It is recommended that students apply at least two months before the semester begins.

- Current copy of your I-20 student copy from the last school the student was authorized to attend.

Part time International Students must

- Provide a letter from the DSO at your institution with permission for you to take classes at OCCC each semester
- Submit current official transcript from the school which holds your SEVIS record.
- Come in person to meet with an Admissions Advisor in Recruitment and Admissions
