Randa Pospisil

Randa is a first-generation college student. She earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma City Community College, Bachelor of Science and Master of Science with major in Nursing Education from Southern Nazarene University, and her Family Nurse Practitioner post-Master certificate from Midwestern State University.

Her experience as an RN spans newborn and pediatric nursing, hospice care and administration, and management of the nurse navigation program at a metro cancer center. Her nurse practitioner experience is in neurosurgery where she served as pre-op ERAS team lead.

Randa’s favorite aspect of nursing has always been the teaching component, whether with patients & families or with students. She’s worked with OCCC nursing in different capacities since 2007 and is honored to come alongside students as they work toward joining this noble profession to serve others.

When not working, Randa can be found growing flowers from seed on her small-scale cut flower farm with her german shepherd, mini golden-doodle, and a lop-eared bunny nearby. She says her joy is found in her faith, close family, husband of 25 years & 3 stellar kids.
