Lara Dean

Lara M. Dean, MD, earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Oklahoma and received her residency training in Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at The University of Louisville. She has been an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center since 2017, where she has served as the OCCC Anesthesia Technology Medical Advisor since 2018. Dr. Dean was named the 137th Medical Group Airman of the Year and awarded a Humanitarian Service Medal in 2007. In 2008, Dr. Dean was awarded the Iraq Campaign Medal. She has served as a member of the Air National Guard as a flight surgeon since 2002.
