Jeff Provine grew up on the family’s Land Run farm outside Enid, Oklahoma. Jeff has always sought to be well rounded, graduating the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics before minoring in Classics, spending a year abroad, and then gaining his master’s in Professional Writing from OU’s Gaylord College of Journalism & Mass Communication. While completing his master’s, Jeff was asked to teach English Composition courses at OU, which began his career as an educator and trainer. In addition to teaching, Jeff writes. He’s published a steampunk trilogy, a young adult science fiction adventure, a treasury of illustrated urban legends, and four collections of spooky folklore from central Oklahoma. In 2017, Jeff founded Okie Comics Magazine, a quarterly anthology of comics all made by Oklahomans with the stories set in Oklahoma. Jeff lives in Norman with his wife Courtney and their houseful of zany animals.
