Admission Procedures:
Applications are accepted for fall and spring entries for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
Special application procedures must be followed by those planning to pursue a degree in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
Occupational Therapy Assistant Application
A class will be selected from eligible applicants who have been ranked according to preference points (see application). Remaining applicants will be placed on an alternate list.
Prospective Occupational Therapy Assistant Student Letter including Graduation, Certification, Licensure, estimated costs, and curriculum pattern.
OUTCOMES
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Exam results: Upon graduation from the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Certification Examination for the Occupational Therapy Assistant.
The following results demonstrate the aggregate data for 2015, 2016 and 2017, new graduate test takers (graduated within 12 months of taking the exam) for the 3 most recent calendar years (January-December of 2015, 2016, and 2017): Data for this report was prepared to the ACOTE standard of A5.6.

The total number of graduates from the OCCC Occupational Therapy Assistant Program during the 3-year period of 2015-2017 was 76 with an average graduation rate of 93%.

Please note: All OTA program faculty (full-time and adjunct) maintain current OT licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision. Current copies of each faculty license is kept on file in the division office.
