Admission Requirements

OCCC is an Open Admission institution.  This means that programs are available to as many students as possible regardless of previous academic experience.

Recent High School Graduates (Under 21)
High School transcript reflecting graduation date
ACT/SAT if taken-placement testing may be required

Adult Students (Age 21 and over)
High School degree or GED not required
Official college or university transcript from all colleges attended

Transfer Students (Non-Degree Seeking)
Official college or university transcripts
(Students in this category are limited to no more than 9 credit hours)

Home School and Unaccredited Schools
Official high school transcript reflecting graduation date
Official ACT or SAT scores (must be taken)
Students are subject to meeting high school curricular requirements

Concurrent High School Students

International Students

Health Program Applicants

Students For Whom English Is A Second Language

Opportunity Admission
Students who have not yet graduated from high school and whose ACT score is at the 99th percentile (Oklahoma norms) may be eligible for admission

Student must meet all eligibility requirements for admission and prerequisites for course(s)
Standard credit hour tuition & fees apply

Senior Citizens
Must meet the same requirements as Adult Students
Age 65 and older who audit a course may request to have tuition waived
