Biography

In 1995, Professor Inglett completed a B.A. in English from the University of Arkansas. In 1998, he received an M.A. in English from Missouri State University. Since 2000, he has taught full time at OCCC.

Since work experience demands collaboration, Professor Inglett creates an active learning environment where students engage each other in academic discourse. Viewing his authority from a humble perspective, he functions as the mentor, the facilitator, the coach, and, most importantly, the learner. Most students enrolling in his courses consider him sincere, honest, objective, open, and welcoming.

Professor Inglett believes that all courses, including math and science, are significant for development as leaders in culture, even if courses at first glance do not seem to relate to a student’s career choice. Finally, Professor Inglett agrees that since we live in a global environment, students should continually seek opportunities to engage in a variety of perspectives and cultures.

When not teaching, Professor Inglett writes poetry, plays acoustic guitar, and drinks too much coffee. His greatest passions include his children, music, film, and religious studies.
