Leila Lenore

Director of Cultural Programs

Ms. Lenore joined the OCCC Cultural Programs staff in 2019 as the Director of Cultural Programs. She began working in the Arts at the Goddard Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Ardmore, OK, where she served as the Executive Director from 2009 to 2016. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma where she graduated with a major in Communications and a minor in English. She attended Graduate School at the University of Oklahoma’s School of Library and Information Studies. Her graduate studies included Management of Information and Knowledge Organizations, Community Relations and Advocacy, Multiculturalism, Research Methods and Volunteer Management. Ms. Lenore is also a proud graduate of the Oklahoma Arts Council’s Leadership Arts Program, Class of 2011.

 John Farrell

John Farrell

Stage Manager

As a Journeyman of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Mr. Farrell worked with Oklahoma City performing arts programs for over fifteen years. After four years in the Marine Corps, he returned to Oklahoma City to become Assistant Stage Manager for the Civic Center Music Hall.  After the Civic Center reopened in 2001, Mr. Farrell was promoted to Operations Manager. In 2012 he began work part-time as a Stage Tech at OCCC, working productions in the Bruce Owen Theatre and assisting in the opening of the VPAC Theatre. He was hired in February, 2014 as Stage Manager, responsible for the VPAC and Bruce Owen Theatres.

 Andi Gleichman

Assistant Stage Manager and Head Carpenter

Ms. Gleichman joined the Cultural Programs staff in January, 2014.  She has worked for the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Oklahoma City Ballet, Lyric Theatre and the Civic Center Music Hall. Ms. Gleichman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Instrumental Music Education from East Central University, Ada, Oklahoma.

 Valerie Havrilla

Cultural Programs Assistant 

Valerie Havrilla began as an OCCC student in 2003 and graduated with an A.A.S. in Computer Science in 2005. That same year, she began employment with OCCC as the Assistant to the TeleLearning Department. Her duties quickly expanded to include online student tech support and assisting with the Instructional Technology Center. In 2010, Valerie began working in the Center for Learning and Teaching, where she was committed to support multiple aspects of the CLT, using her flexibility and resourcefulness to help the CLT team accomplish their goals and the goals of the college. Valerie joined the Cultural Programs Department on July 1, 2016.

 Chuck Riley

Chuck Riley

Coordinator of Cultural Programs Events & Educational Activities

Mr. Riley is responsible for Front of House and volunteer usher needs for the Visual and Performing Arts Center, and the Bruce Owen Theater. He also oversees scheduling and promoting Educational Activities for the Cultural Programs Department. Previously he worked for 34 years with The Hertz Corporation in various roles, from application development to project management. He is a recipient of The President’s Volunteer Service Award – Bronze Level. Mr. Riley attended San Diego State University, and is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
