Due to inclement weather, Oklahoma City Community College will be closed Thursday, February 22, 2018. This includes classes and activities at the main campus, Professional Development Institute (PDI), Capitol Hill Center, and the Family and Community Education (FACE) Center.

Unless notified otherwise, all classes and activities will resume Friday, February 23, at their regularly scheduled times. Campus closings and delayed openings will be announced through local radio and television stations and posted on the college’s website, Facebook and Twitter pages. They will also be announced through the college’s Campus Alert Notification (CAN) System. Director of Capitol Hill Center

Greg Myles, Director OCCC Capitol Hill Center, serves as principal administrator for the Oklahoma City Community College Capitol Hill Center dedicated to delivering quality and relevant educational opportunities to historically under-served populations. He provides leadership and support for all Capitol Hill Center classes, programs, services, activities, and facilities. As part of the leadership team in the Department of Community Development, Mr. Myles also assists with the design and implementation of diverse programs and services throughout Capitol Hill and the surrounding Metro.

Office Assistant

Graciela Lopez, the OCCC Capitol Hill Center Office Assistant, is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Graciela assigns classrooms, schedules facility usage, supervises student employees or volunteers, and maintains office records.

Early College Awareness Program Specialist

Marina Rodriguez, Early College Awareness Program Specialist is responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating programs aimed toward early college awareness and admission. Programs developed in collaboration with area elementary, middle, and high schools to promote first generation college bound students are:

Bilingual Banking & Finance • English as a Second Language for youth (Y-ESL) • Community After School Program (CAST) • ACT preparatory courses • College for Kids at Capitol Hill (CFK)
