About
Jeff Provine grew up on the family’s Land Run farm outside Enid, Oklahoma. Prof. Provine has always sought to be well rounded, graduating the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics before minoring in Classics, spending a year abroad, and then gaining his master’s in Professional Writing from OU’s Gaylord College of Journalism & Mass Communication. In addition to teaching, Prof. Provine researches Oklahoma folklore, creates comics, and writes, including publications such as Okie Comics Magazines and Haunted Oklahoma.
