Music
If your interest is music, Oklahoma City Community College is the place for you. Our
two-year Associate Degree program in music develops skills in important areas such
as theory, performance, and individual and group applied music. After completing your
Associate Degree, you'll be able to transfer to a four- year college or university
and continue your education as a junior.
At Oklahoma City Community College, you’ll study in a state-of -the-art facility that features a 1,000-seat performance hall with spectacular acoustics and a brand-new (Sept. 2023) speaker array. There are 24-track digital and 32-track analog recording facilities, a music lab, a music library, and practice and teaching studios. Students perform on our Steinway 9’ concert grand piano, and there’s a Steinway 6’ baby grand piano in the music lab. Most importantly, the music program is taught by passionate music educators with decades of experience that are some of the finest performers in the region.
