    Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) has partnered with Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre (CityRep) to present screenings of National Theatre Live (NTL) performances in the college's Visual and Performing Arts Center (VPAC) Theater. The encore presentation of "Behind the Beautiful Forevers," adapted from Katherine Boo's non-fiction work, will be shown Sunday, Feb. 14 at 6:00 p.m. It was previously scheduled for Feb. 7.     The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) requires training for new federal investigators, and the Professional Development Institute at Oklahoma City Community College will be offering the required 32-hour course this spring.     OCCC and YWCA join forces to prevent sexual violence

    OCCC is committed to preventing sexual violence and sexual misconduct on its campus and in the community. In an effort to expand its responsiveness, the college has partnered with the YWCA Oklahoma City to provide caring and professional advocacy, 24 hours per day. In addition to this partnership, the college has also created a new sexual assault and discrimination website and since September, 2015, requires its students to complete online sexual violence prevention training.     Jazz legend Doc Severinsen show at OCCC rescheduled

    Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) continues the 2015-2016 Performing Arts Series (PAS) with legendary trumpeter and bandleader of "The Tonight Show'" fame, Doc Severinsen, with the Oklahoma City Jazz Orchestra. Mr. Severinsen sustained a lip injury and was not able to perform on the scheduled date of Oct. 26, 2015, so the rescheduled show will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the OCCC Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater.
