How Funds Are Spent
In 2020 and 2021, more than 300 students were awarded scholarships valued at $192,694.
Last year, the food pantry experienced about 6,650 visits and distributed approximately 120,000 pounds of food.
Last year, we raised $185,000 for the COVID Fund, which supported students who were facing difficulties during COVID. This fund supplied 740 students with $250 VISA gift cards.
The Foundation helps fundraise for several student and community programs such as Students Connecting with Mentors for Success (SCMS), Cultural Programs, the Visual and Performing Arts Center, the Alumni Association and Capital Hills Center outreach programs like College for Kids and Adult Basic Education.
