Tom Paxton and The DonJuans will perform Tuesday March 10 at 7 30 in the Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater

Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) presents Tom Paxton and The DonJuans Tuesday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater. This will be a night to remember as Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner and folk icon, Tom Paxton, joins the Grammy Award-winning songwriter duo, The DonJuans.

After performing at thousands of venues across the world, Tom Paxton has teamed up with Jon Vezner & Don Henry, to bring a lineup of traditional folk songs, and plenty of storytelling. Once a drama student at The University of Oklahoma, Paxton’s songs have been covered by artists such as Blake Shelton, Faith Hill, Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger and Dolly Parton.

Known for their Grammy Award- winning song “Where’ve You Been” The DonJuans have received some of the highest accolades in songwriting history. Their song “Where’ve You Been” was the first song ever to be honored by all major “Song of the Year” honors including: the Grammy’s, Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association, and the Nashville Songwriters Association International.

Together, this world-renowned trio will have you tapping your foot, and humming along to their unique style of acoustic folk music.
