Filmed live on stage from London’s West End, Oklahoma City Community College’s (OCCC) Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater will screen Stefano Massini’s, “The Lehman Trilogy.â€
The story takes place on a cold September morning in 1844, after a young man from Bavaria looks out on a New York dockside and dreams of a new life in a new world. He is soon joined by his two brothers, unaware that an American epic will be began.
After 163 years in business, the firm they established, Lehman Brothers, suddenly goes bankrupt, and sparks the biggest financial crisis in history.
The screening is Sunday, Feb. 2, at 2 p.m. at OCCC Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater, 7777 S. May Ave. All events are encore presentations pre-recorded in High Definition (HD).Tickets to the National Theatre Live performances are $15.00 for Adults (18+), $10.00 for OCCC Subscription Holders, $5.00 for Youth (17 and under), $5.00 for Students, and FREE for OCCC students (with current ID).
