OCCC (Oklahoma City Community College) Community Outreach and Education will offer a wide variety of classes this summer at the Family and Community Education (FACE) Center, located at 6500 S. Land Avenue, through the College for Kids program.
College for Kids is designed for students entering 1st – 8th grade. The academic enrichment program consists mostly of one-week classes taught by qualified instructors. College for Kids runs from June 5th through July 28th with classes available from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Before care, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., and aftercare, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. are also available for students.
Classes include science, technology, engineering, art, math, music, dance, language, culture, theater and much more. This summer, we’ll welcome special guests from OSU’s Insect Adventure, the Oklahoma City Zoo, the Oklahoma History Center, The Forestry Service and more.
