“Powered by ONE” Mobile Exhibit Makes Stop on OCCC Campus

Learn the Importance of Natural Gas Sept. 12

    (Published: 09-06-13)

Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) and ONEOK/Oklahoma Natural Gas will partner together Thursday, Sept. 12 to share the importance of natural gas usage, its benefits and safety. The ONEOK/ONG "Powered by ONE" mobile exhibit will be on the OCCC campus from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in parking lot G, and will feature interactive games and information.

The Powered by ONE mobile exhibit is a 53-foot, expandable trailer that travels across the state sharing information about ONEOK, how it operates, its commitment to environment, safety, health, and other industry-related facts. The Powered by ONE exhibit is powered 100 percent by compressed natural gas (CNG) and requires no additional utility sources. The exhibit is wheelchair accessible and allows for approximately 40 individuals to view the exhibit at once. Company representatives will be on hand to give tours and information on careers in the energy industry.

Open to the entire OCCC community, Powered by ONE is co-sponsored by the OCCC Engineering Club and Transportation Technology Department.
