 Oil and Gas

America’s oil and natural gas industry considers safety their top priority. In fact, the industry is committed to developing the onshore and offshore technologies, standards, best practices and programs needed to help ensure that environmental and workplace safety is at the forefront of producing the energy our nation needs.

This month, Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) will host SafeLand USA Awareness classes to provide oil and gas industry professionals with important and specific safety guidelines to use on the job. Two classes are set for this fall, Wed., Oct. 17 and 31. The first class will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the OCCC Family and Community Education (FACE) Center, 6500 S. Land Avenue. On Oct. 31, the all-day class will be held from 8:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the OKC Downtown College, located in the Ronald J. Norick Library/Learning Center, 300 Park Avenue in downtown Oklahoma City.
