OCCC to Offer Pharmacy Tech Class, Summer 2012

Pharmacy Tech Summer 2012

Enroll now in the Pharmacy Technician I: Basic Prescriptions & Dispensing course at Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC). The class will be held May 30 through August 1, on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. in the OCCC Keith Leftwich Memorial Library, Room 407 A&B.

The course, taught by a Certified Pharmacy Technician, will offer participants a firm foundation to receive certification in this growing field and preparation to practice with a registered pharmacist. Prerequisites for the class include a high school diploma or GED and basic math skills.

Cost for the course is $435.00 which includes 36 hours of instruction and a textbook approved by the American Pharmacists Association.
