The Foundation for Oklahoma City Community College today announced four new appointees to its Board of Trustees, each for a three-year term. Michael “Mickâ€ Brannan, Phil Busey, Sr., Danielle Hoeltzel and Lynda Mobley are the new appointees.
“We’re very grateful these four accomplished community leaders have offered their support for our mission,â€ said Von Allen, Executive Director of The Foundation. “Each brings unique knowledge, skills and spheres of influence that will help us create opportunities for our students and the community.â€
Mick Brannan is the Operations Senior Manager for Aircraft Modernization and Modification for The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City; Phil Busey, Sr. is the founder, chairman and CEO of DRG Management; Danielle Hoeltzel is the Director of Organizational Development at Express Employment Professionals’ international headquarters; and Lynda Mobley is the Foundation Partner for Corporate Giving at ONE Gas.
“Oklahoma City Community College offers opportunities for anyone who wants them,â€ said Allen. “And The Foundation is an entity whose sole purpose is to help create those opportunities. We couldn’t do that without our exceptional Board of Trustees.â€
The Foundation for Oklahoma City Community College is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in 1998 by a group of community and business leaders who wanted to encourage private support for Oklahoma City Community College. In fiscal year 2020, The Foundation awarded more than $210,000 in scholarships to students, and so far during the COVID-19 pandemic, The Foundation has awarded nearly $100,000 in emergency grants to more than 350 students experiencing financial hardships.
