Drug Education
Drug information and referral services are provided through Student Accessibility
and Support. New and returning students may pick up a pamphlet containing the following
information in Recruitment and Admissions or in Student Accessibility and Support.

- Standards of conduct that prohibit the unlawful possession, use, or distribution of
drugs and alcohol on campus or at campus activities (provided in detail in the Student
Handbook). - Description of the applicable legal sanctions under local, state, and federal law
for unlawful possession, use or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol. - Description of health risks associated with the use of illicit drugs and the abuse
of alcohol. - Description of drug and alcohol counseling, treatment, and rehabilitation programs
available to students in the area.
Information, counseling and referrals to community programs and services are also
