I grew up in Northeast Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University for my Bachelor’s (2009) and Master’s (2011) degrees in Environmental Science focusing on Public Policy with a minor in Spanish. I continued on to West Texas to earn my Master’s Degree in Political Science (2013) and PhD (2016) from Texas Tech University in Public Administration, American Politics, and Public Policy. My primary focus of research is sustainability policy in higher education. I joined the Political Science Department at OCCC in 2016. I enjoy watching the Oklahoma State Cowboys play a variety of sports, traveling as often as possible, beekeeping, and reading.
