Dr. Campbell has been an Adjunct Professor at OCCC for several years. His full-time position is Section Chief for Speech Pathology in Audiology-Speech Pathology Services at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He sees inpatients and outpatients in all areas of the hospital including intensive care units, extended care and geriatric medicine, medical wards, and psychiatric ward as well as the outpatient clinics of Speech Pathology. Dr. Campbell is an anatomist with a PhD from the OU College of Medicine, MS in Speech Pathology from OU College of Allied Health, and holds an MBA in business administration. He has practiced as a speech language pathologist since 1997 and has previous experience in technology transfer and commercial development of advanced technology. Dr. Campbell holds Oklahoma state licensure for secondary school speech pathology practice and is a member of the federal Association of VA Speech Language Pathologists. John teaches Anatomy and Physiology of the Speech and Hearing Mechanism for SLPAs. He also teaches on-line courses in other program areas and at other educational institutions.
