Teresa is an adjunct professor for the OCCC SLPA program. She also is the Team Supervisor of Acute Care Therapy at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, supervising physical therapists and assistants, occupational therapists and assistants, speech-language pathologists, and rehab techs in addition to providing direct patient care services. She also leads the Speech-Language Pathology student program at Hillcrest. Teresa received her degrees from the University of Tulsa and has practiced as a speech-language pathologist since 1994, working in a variety of hospital, rehab, skilled nursing, home health, outpatient, and corporate settings with a focus on medical speech-language pathology and foreign accent modification. She has served OSHA as Tri-Alliance Chair, and is currently Medical Issues Chair. She also is the Oklahoma representative for the ASHA STAR and StAMP reimbursement and advocacy networks. Teresa teaches Medical Issues for SLPAs.
