Michael Boyle joined the faculty of OCCC in 2006. He holds degrees from the College-Conservatory of Music at University of Cincinnati (performance) and Southern Illinois University (orchestral conducting). He performs regularly in the Oklahoma City area in both the Classical and Jazz idioms. A contemporary music lover, he has premiered works by Sydney Hodkinson, Allen Sapp, Norman Dinnerstein, Frank Proto, Phillip Meade, and Joshua Haas. As a bassist, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, in Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Dallas, London, Paris, Salzburg, Venice, and Munich. In addition, Boyle spent 14 years working as an Executive Chef in fine dining nationwide.
