Ecological concepts are discussed which enables students to have a better understanding regarding the impact that humans have on the natural world. | This course will fulfill the general education requirement for Physical Science (with laboratory). The student will be introduced to modern astronomy. Concepts to be studied include the solar system, the sun and stars, galaxies (including the Milky Way Galaxy), and current theories of the origin, evolution, and fate of the universe. Laboratory exercises will explore basic physical principles related to Astronomy as well as activities with specific astronomical applications.
