This course is a survey of world literature from about 1600 to contemporary times. Students will study representative works that comprise literary traditions from diverse cultures throughout the world. The cultural, historical and philosophical influences on the literature will also be examied.

This course satisfies three credit hours of the General Education Humanities requirement for all Associate in Arts, Science, and Diversified Studies degrees.
