Provide Prompt Feedback
Criterion Six - Provide Prompt Feedback
Feedback is an important part of learning. As new knowledge is being acquired, it is important to test that knowledge for clarity, understanding, and application. The student continues to learn through the feedback you provide to the work that is completed. Effective feedback continues the learning as students acquire the knowledge and skills to master your content.
Observers will be looking to find evidence related to:
- Respond to student inquires and emails within the recommended timeline
- Answer student questions clearly and directly
- Provide feedback to incorrect answers
- Provide meaningful feedback to assignments and comments
- praise students for contributions that deserve commendation
