  1. What is a Telecourse?

A telecourse is a print and video based college course. Print materials usually consist of a textbook and a study guide, but other books may also be required or suggested for students to read. Video lessons, which vary in number by course, supplement the print materials. Telecourses require students to meet the same objectives as traditional on-campus courses.

An OKC Community College instructor will be assigned to each telecourse. The instructor orients students to the course, may conduct test reviews, and grades all assignments and tests. The instructor will be your guide through the video and print materials and will be available to you throughout the course for questions and assistance. Be sure you know your instructor's name, telephone number, e-mail address, and office location.
