Q. When will the telecourse video lessons be available to access each semester?

A. The first day the semester begins.

Q. Must I be enrolled in an Oklahoma City Community College telecourse to access the video lessons?

A. Yes, you must be enrolled in an Oklahoma City Community College telecourse to access the video lessons.

Q. How long do I have access to the video lessons?

A. The access period is for the semester in which you are currently enrolled. You can view each lesson as often as necessary during the semester.

Q. What if I have trouble playing the video lessons during the semester?

A. You need to go to the Streaming Video Technical Support web page at http://www.occc.edu/TeleLearning/techsupport.html and submit the form, or call
(405) 682-7838 or (405) 682-1611 ext. 7424, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Q. Can I copy the streaming video lessons?

A. No, federal copyright law prohibits the copy or alterations of Telecourse Streaming Video digital files. Penalities could be assessed per occurrence.

Q. How will I know if my computer and Internet connection are fast enough to operate Streaming Video files?

A. You will need the following system requirements for Telecourse Streaming Video Access.

Broadband connection (cable, DSL, or broadband wireless)
Windows Media Player 7.1 or higher (Free download on Test Demo/Downloads web page)
Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher (Free download on Test Demo/Downloads web page)
Testing your system (System Test on Test Demo/Downloads web page)

Q. Do I have to access the Streaming Video files from the same computer every time?

A. No, you can view the streaming video files from any computer, as long as it meets the system requirements. You can view the video lessons in the library or in the computer lab on the third floor of the library.
