Single Sign-On

Several resources provided by Oklahoma City Community College require that you sign-on using your OCCC account. Many of these resources use a method of authentication referred to as single sign-on, or SSO.

SSO provides various benefits over traditional authentication methods. Two of which are a uniform login page and a reduction in the number of times you are required to enter a username and password.

Username/Email Information

By default, the name used to sign on will be your email address. Below you will find the default email address formats.

  •  Students |  firstname.middleinitial.lastname@my.occc.edu
  •  Faculty and Staff |  firstname.middleinitial.lastname@occc.edu
  •  Retirees |  firstname.middleinitial.lastname@college.occc.edu

For example, a student with the name, Justin K. Example, would have a default email address of, justin.k.example@my.occc.edu.

A person with that same name working for the college, as part of the faculty or staff, would have a default email address of, justin.k.example@occc.edu.

If that person were to retire their email address would change to, justin.k.example@college.occc.edu.

NOTE: If you do not have a middle name, or one was not listed on your application packet the middle initial is omitted and the first and last name are separated by a period.

If you are having issues determining your username/email address or require additional assistance, please contact the OCCC Helpdesk at (405) 682-7777.

Password Information

  • Your initial password will be set to the last six digits of your social security number, or the last six digits of your 999 number if you do not have a social security number.
  • If you know your current password, you may change it at any time by visiting https://fs.occc.edu/adfs/portal/updatepassword
  • If you do not know your current password or require additional assistance, please contact the OCCC Helpdesk at (405) 682-7777.
