You can see the requirements for each of the above degrees by checking the curriculum patterns from the online College Catalog. (Note: After using the link to visit the College Catalog, you will need to use your "Back" button to return to this page.)

*****Special Note******

General Education Requirements of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education for any Associate of Arts or Science Degree (or Bachelor's Degree for that matter) include a biological science course and a physical science course for a total of 7 credit hours. One of these courses MUST have a laboratory component.

Therefore, if you have taken or plan to take a biology class that has no lab component (such as Nutrition, the 3-hour Biological Principles course, or BIO 1113), you will need a physical science class with a lab component.

The following physical science courses have lab components that meet the general education requirement: Alternatively, if you plan to take or have already taken a 3-hour physical science class with no lab component (i.e. Astronomy, a 3-hour chemistry class, or the 3-hour Physical Science class) and still need a 1-hour lab to complete your graduation requirements, you can take PHYS 1011 -- Physical Science Laboratory.
