Dr. Janet Perry has been the Director of Institutional Effectiveness since 2005.  As director, she spearheads the college’s research activities including: managing the graduate, employer, and student surveys; ensuring the administration and the Board of Regents is receiving accurate up-to-date information through the monitoring reports; and providing other pertinent data. She also leads the Higher Learning Commission’s accreditation efforts on campus.  Janet is a Peer Reviewer of HLC Self Studies, an AQIP examiner for HLC portfolios and works as a dissertation advisor of Nova Southeastern graduate students.

Matt joined the OCCC team in 2012. The Senior Institutional Research Analyst is responsible for developing data to support the college’s initiatives, analyzing research data and developing appropriate analytical findings, projections and trends for use in institutional planning and evaluation. In his free time, Matt enjoys going to the gym, watching Thunder basketball and anything science fiction.

Liz joined the team in 2016.  She is responsible for developing data to support the College’s initiatives, analyzing research data and developing appropriate analytical findings, projections and trends for use in institutional decision making. This individual will use information from the College’s Datatel System, other colleges, regional and national data banks to generate the necessary data. Internal information will be developed using business objects.

Denise Gomez began work at OCCC in 1995.  She provides organizational, administrative, and technical support to the Executive Director of Planning and Research and the Director of Institutional Effectiveness by performing a broad range of projects and assignments such as the collection of data, preparation of reports, coordinating requests from other departments, record keeping, and other relevant duties.
